Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before.
DivorceCare support groups are Christian-based support groups led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You will learn how to heal from the deep hurt of divorce and discover hope for your future. It’s a warm caring environment where you will quickly find that you are not alone.
These support groups are facilitated by people who have been through divorce so they understand your hurts, emotions and painful experiences. In each session we learn helpful and practical information to help you recover from divorce or separation. Whether you are newly separated, just starting the divorce process or have been divorced for years you can benefit from these support groups.
DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Sessions include topics like The Road to Healing and Finding Help, Facing or Dealing with Anger, Depression, Loneliness, New Relationships, Financial Survival, Forgiveness, Reconciliation and Growing Closer to God.
Sessions are typically held every Monday evening from 6:30PM to 8:30 PM. You are welcome to join at any time. Head over to the Vgroups page to see our current session. If you have any questions or would like more information, contact our Divorce Care Director, .
